Follow Us On TwitterFebruary 25th, 2010Follow Us on FacebookFebruary 25th, 2010E-Force Supercharger for 2008-10 C6 Corvettes Hit the StreetsFebruary 25th, 2010TORRANCE, CA - Edelbrock is proud to announce the release of their new E-Force Supercharger kits for the C6 Corvette. The all new design pushes the stock LS3 engine up to an amazing 554 flywheel HP and 515 ft/lbs of torque (with stock fuel pump) or 599 flywheel HP and 547 ft/lbs of torque (with included high volume fuel pump). This Corvette supercharger incorporates the Eaton Twin Vortices Series (TVS) Gen VI rotor assembly, the same internals used on the new ZR-1 Corvette, as well as an air to water twin intercooler system and dual core heat exchanger. Torque has been optimized through the use of 12″ long runners, while low speed fuel economy is retained through the use of an internal bypass valve to reduce parasitic loss. All of this technology fits under the Corvette stock hood without modification to the hood, hood liner or cowl. These kits include all of the upgraded components needed to support the increased power output of the engine, including 52 lb/hr injectors, a high flow air intake system and a handheld programming module to update the ECU. They are designed to work with all OEM emissions equipment and a pending EO makes them 50 state street legal. The 554 HP kit and 599 HP kit are complete systems that include matching coil covers for a great under hood look, and are available with a 5 year, 100,000 mile warranty for worry-free operation. Edelbrock also offers an E-Force supercharger competition kit , which eliminates the injectors, programmer, and engine covers to provide only the core components needed to build up a competition level vehicle. The supercharger drive pulley is also deleted to allow the end user to select from four pulleys ranging in size from 2.75″ to 3.50″ in diameter, depending on the boost level desired. Features Include:

He asked me if I was going to Bowling Green, Kentucky to pick it up and then he explained to me what it was about. Then and there, I decided to go. My anticipation grew and grew as I booked my flight and made my travel arrangements for November 7, 2008. When I finally got there and found myself on Spire and Corvette Blvd., I knew I was in for a treat. At the NCM, the people couldn’t have been nicer; Lori Bleschke, Gary Cockriel, and their staff made sure to make the experience special. While it was great to talk to them and I felt right at home, inside, all I wanted to do was see my new Vette. When I walked into the area with the line of Corvettes, I passed each one quicker and quicker, getting more and more excited with each car. And then finally I saw a sign with my name on it, presenting me with my new Vette, #299 off the assembly line, the only Atomic Orange ZR1 to date. I walked around the car, and everyone was congratulating me. It was a once in a lifetime feeling. The next day I got a real treat: a tour through the Corvette Assembly plant, which is really something to see. This is the fourth Vette I’ve owned in my life, and to own a Vette is special. But to go to the NCM and pick one up and to see them all come together in front of your eyes makes it even more special. I have only changed the radio knobs, floor and cargo rugs, and installed a laser cut exhaust cover on the mufflers. Because of the weather, I haven’t had a chance to drive it much, so as it warms up, I look forward to driving it more. I will be attending the fala for the opening of the addition to the NCM in April. It should be a great day for the Corvette and Corvette owners. I also own a 2006 Monterey Red C6 convertible. Changes I have made to the C6 include:
